This can be made on the stovetop or in the crock pot! Wonderful served over mashed potatoes.
Ingredients

3 lbs top round steak or roast, sliced thin
2 TB Vegetable Oil
2 Packets Brown Gravy Mix
4 cups Beef Broth
1 1/2 tsp ginger powder
1 tsp salt
1 Onion
4 TB Brown Sugar
1/4 Cup Red Wine Vinegar
3 TB Worcestershire Sauce
2 Bay Leaves
Ground Pepper
Heat oil in a large saucepan at medium heat. Add meat and brown nicely. Remove meat to a bowl and saute the onion. Add the gravy mix and water or beef broth and bring to a boil. Stir in the brown sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire, ginger, bay leaves, salt and pepper. Return the meat to the pan, reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 1 hour.
Alternate - Brown meat, transfer to crock pot. Add all other ingredients and cook until done.
