Ingredients
- (1 lb) Chicken Wings
- (1-2 cups) BBQ Sauce
- (1 tsp) Sea Salt
- (1/2 tsp) Ground Black Pepper
- (1 tsp) Garlic Powder
- (1 tsp) Onion Powder
- (1 tsp) Smoked Paprika
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 425ºF. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the wings: Use a sharp knife to separate them at the joints into drumettes and flats. Discard the wingtips or save them for stock.
- Pat the wings dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. This helps them crisp up in the oven.
- Season the wings with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika, making sure they are evenly coated on all sides.
- Toss with BBQ sauce: Place the wings in a mixing bowl, add 1 cup of barbecue sauce, and mix until well coated.
- Arrange on the baking sheet: Spread the wings out in a single layer, leaving space between them for even cooking.
- Bake for 35 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165ºF and the skin is crispy.
- Toss with more sauce: Transfer the hot wings to a clean mixing bowl, add the remaining cup of barbecue sauce, and toss to coat.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
